I’ve attended several of Madison King’s Energy Medicine Workshops on the Costa del Sol and always enjoyed them. She has great skill in presenting Energy Medicine in a manner that’s easy to follow and very enjoyable. So I was delighted when she agreed to become one of the first Experts for Mind Body Spirit Centre and that we work together to make a training video based on Energy Medicine and Kinesiology.
Our chosen Production Company was Crazy Cow Media. Madison and I couldn’t believe our luck when we found Trevor Brooks to make our first DVD. Trevor has many years experience making specialist DVDs including ones for other therapist such Chiropractors and Speech Therapists. He also has a strong interest in Mind Body Spirit matters as he has trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is producing his own Mind Body Spirit Compendium CD.
The Shoot.On one of the only sunny days in March 2010 on the Costa del Soggy, we met up early at the spectacular villa of Villa Mas Mañanasfor a one day shoot. We choose this location because of its stunning position and so we could show that Madison’s food testing and energy medicine techniques were useable at the home.
Energy Exercises
Overall the shoot went very smoothly. After her initial nerves subsided, Madison got into full Diva swing and we got most of her individual takes done in the morning, outside by the Infinity Pool. These covered her introduction to Energy Medicine and her unique 4 pronged approach to helping your body overcome food intolerances. We also filmed the energy exercises that are a bonus feature on the DVD. My daughter Josie enjoyed joining in with the Energy Exercise.
Energy Medicine Testing
By the afternoon, all the Extras had arrived. Madison had invited two clients to take part as well as my husband and daughter. She wanted a mix of people to show how her techniques can be used by anyone. Because the light was still good we stayed outside by the pool. In this part of the video, Madison shows her guests how to do the Energy testing to identify food sensitivities using various food samples she had prepared earlier.
Villa Mas Mañanas is in a very quiet and secluded spot so you can image our surprise when a few minutes into the afternoon shoot a loud grinding noise started. (This is especially surprising given that it was Siesta time!) We discovered that this was because a nearby stone wall, that had recently been damaged by the floods was being repaired. Luckily the noise was intermittent and we managed to get in our takes in between being entertained with stories of shooting in exotic places such as the Kalahari desert by Trevor and fellow cameraman Ian.
The last part of the video was shot in the lounge. This is when Madison gives more practical advice about strengthening your body against food intolerances. You’ll have to watch the DVD to see why she has put two tennis balls into a sock!
Madison’s Food Testing Made Simple DVDMadison's Food Testing Made Simple will be available in May 2010. We are launching it the Mind Body Spirit Show in London at the end of May where Madison is one of the key presenters. However since Madison got the fantastic news that Donna Eden, the world leader in Energy Medicine was coming over to Spain in the middle of May and had agreed to give an Energy Medicine Workshop, we will try to give attendees a sneak preview of the DVD at that event. (Donna is actually coming on a family holiday and to see Madison, but she has agreed to do the workshop as she is such an open spirited person who wants to share her work around the World.)
We will of course be selling the DVD on this site and will soon be taking orders which expect will be fulfilled before the end of May. The DVD can be shipped and viewed all over the World and is in the International PAL format.
