For over 25 years Kay Kay has dedicated her life to her own Personal Development and that of others. She is committed to helping people make meaningful changes in their lives. Her chosen specialist field is Listening Skills – as she believes that good listening lies at the foundation of all Communications and Relationships. By becoming good listeners we will enhance our own lives and those around us.
Kay Kay believes that each day offers an opportunity to learn something, to make a contribution and to have some fun.
Her experiences in accepting challenges and overcoming difficulties have taught her the power of the human spirit to make a positive difference in situations requiring change.
Kay has worked in a number of fields, in which she has created several businesses, agencies and networks. Over the last quarter of a century she has concentrated on personal, spiritual and community development.
As a life coach, Kay has helped people to identify their values and realise their potential. As facilitator, she has supported groups to work together to develop their ideas, communicate clearly and advance the aims of their organisation. As a trainer, she has enthusiastically shared knowledge and her comprehensive range of skills and with participants.
In all aspects of her work Kay supports people to expand their thinking and to explore possibilities. She offers information and insights with clarity, courage and compassion.
Her experiences within communities have provided her with valuable opportunities to engage in interactions between individuals and organisations and contribute towards community evolution. For several years she held the unique position of the Listener Convener to the international Findhorn Community, a role, which combines the skills of life coaching, group facilitation, conflict resolution, project management and information dissemination, within the context of community development.
Her passion for the importance of listening as a vital skill is a major theme running through Kay’s life and work. She sees that the inability to listen well can have seriously damaging consequences for individuals, families, businesses and organisations in all sections of society. Her experience convinces her that being able to listen constructively to one another could alleviate many difficult situations and enhance most areas of our lives.
Kay now focuses much of her time in sharing her experience and knowledge through writing. In her books and articles Kay aims to encourage enquiry, creative thinking and the taking of enthusiastic responsibility for individual communication and actions.
